Office of Pharmacy Professional Development

The Office of Pharmacy Professional Development identifies, develops, and presents programs for pharmacists.  Functions of the office include: provision of accredited continuing education programs that assist pharmacists in fulfilling minimum requirements for re-licensure; assistance with skill development required for professional advancement; fostering enhanced inter- and intra- professional relations with other health care workers; developing and providing innovative approaches to programming including home-study; coordinating courses offered in conjunction with other approved providers; and encouraging innovations in and expansion of patient-focused care.  The office also assists in career development for students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program.
