Rho Chi Officers

President – Emily Perriello
Active member of CPNP. Currently working on a literature review with Dr. Caley regarding the risk of suicide in bipolar patients treated with anti-epileptic drugs. Employed by the Hospital of Central Connecticut as a medication reconciliation technician, as well as St. Mary’s Hospital as a pharmacy technician.

Vice President – Kristen Kirchoff
Currently employed by Walmart pharmacy as a pharmacy intern. This past summer, contributed to the development of Access Health CT, Connecticut’s healthcare exchange, as a member of the outreach team.  Also a member of both CPNP and ASCP.

Treasurer – Ashley Gale
An honors student participating in research with Dr. William Baker on the Hemodynamic and Electrocardiographic Effects of Acai Berry in Healthy Volunteers: A Randomized Controlled Trial. Currently working on a paper for publication with Dr. Marie Smith on Medication Therapy Management: Establishing Your Own Service Model & Overcoming the Reimbursement Barrier. Treasurer of Lambda Kappa Sigma. A member of the Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP), the Maine Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP), American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Currently employed as a pharmacy intern at Middlesex Hospital.

Secretary – Clifford Aguele
Currently employed as a pharmacy intern at the Pequot Pharmaceutical Network in Ledyard, Connecticut. As an Urban Service Track Scholar, helps in providing basic health care and health information to urban underserved communities in Connecticut. I am interested in a career in clinical pharmacy.

Historian – Juliana Brown

Currently employed as a pharmacy intern at Rite Aid in Manchester, Connecticut. Worked for three years in the pharmacy at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, Connecticut. Aspires to a career in community or clinical pharmacy.

Pharmacy Student Government Representative – Alyssa Perkins
Currently serving an intern at Stop & Shop Pharmacy. This year will be continuing research in molecular nutrition under Dr. Ji-young Lee and completing a thesis on the effects of berries on non-biliary cholesterol export. Has also served as treasurer and member of APhA.
