Tyczkowski brings a wealth of professional experience and expertise to his new role. He received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He is certified in immunization administration, CPR, diabetes management, and osteoporosis.

In addition to his service to the school, Tyczkowski has been heavily engaged in professional and public service in the area of regulatory affairs, most notably serving as the school’s liaison with the Connecticut Commission of Pharmacy, a representative to the United States Pharmocopeia, and longstanding work with the American Pharmacists Association. He is currently the treasurer of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association, having also served as its president. He has received numerous awards including the Bowl of Hygeia, the UConn Public Service Award, and the NCPA Foundation Outstanding Faculty Liaison.
