Our 2024 FAFSA deadline is March 15. Your complete FAFSA form must be submitted in order to be considered for a scholarship award.
The School of Pharmacy provides annual and endowed scholarships through the generosity of our donors. Not every scholarship is awarded every year. Students are notified via email of scholarship opportunities and application deadlines.
List of Scholarships
Antipas Family Research Scholarship
The Antipas Family Research Scholarship is designed to provide support to qualified students enrolled in the pre-pharmacy major or pharmacy professional program students. In addition to the scholarship to the student, a limited amount of funds are made available to the faculty mentor to partially defray the student’s research expenses. Students must select a research mentor from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and demonstrate active involvement in their research.
Arrow Pharmacy Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2005 with a pledge from Familymeds, Inc., d/b/a Arrow Pharmacy. Candidates must be academically outstanding professional students in their second professional year (P2) who are enrolled full time in the school with demonstrated financial need and be a resident of the State of Connecticut. The scholarship may not be renewed to the recipient(s). From those candidates, priority consideration will be given to students who demonstrate an interest in community pharmacy.
Harold M. Beal Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1989 through the generosity of his wife, Mary Beal Squires and friends and colleagues in recognition of Professor Harold M. Beal’s faculty service. Dr. Beal received his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1955; and was a member of the faculty from 1956 until his death in 1967. It is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program with preference given to past academic achievement and demonstration of potential for future academic and professional accomplishments. Financial need must be considered as well.
Felix Blanc Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 1966 through contributions from Connecticut pharmacists and the Connecticut Pharmacists Association. It is awarded to professional program students with scholarship and need as criteria for issuing the scholarship.
The Capuano Fund Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1996 through the generosity of John Capuano to recognize demonstrated academic promise.
The Chamberlin Family Scholarship
Established to grant financial support a pharmacy student.
Cardinal Health Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded through the generosity of Cardinal Health to a student interested in a career in hospital pharmacy practice.
Chase Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of family members by Jennifer Chase, Class of 1992 and is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program.
Class of 1971 Scholarship
This scholarship was established through the generous contributions of alumni members of the Class of 1971 and is awarded annually to a second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program.
Abraham D. Cohen and Sandra Cohen Fagan Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 1983 through the generosity of Marlene L. Cohen, Class of 1968, in memory of her father, Abraham D. Cohen, who graduated with honors from Connecticut College of Pharmacy, Class of 1930 and in memory of her sister, Sandra Cohen Fagan, Class of 1962. It is awarded annually to a deserving student in the second, third year, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program and is based on need and scholarship.
Amelia Ardizzone Comer Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1982 through the generosity of Bernard V. Comer in memory of his wife, Amelia Ardizzone Comer, Class of 1938, who received an award at graduation, recognizing her as the member of the senior class who had shown the greatest improvement during her college career. It is awarded annually to students entering their final pharmacy professional year and is based on scholastic improvement through the previous school years.
Connecticut Pharmacists Association – Associates Members Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1985 through the courtesy of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association, Rocky Hill, Connecticut. The CPA supports scholarships that are chosen by the school as well as named scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to deserving students within the pharmacy professional program who are Connecticut residents. The named scholarships are: Raymond L. Dunn Memorial Scholarship and the Nathan Hamerman Memorial Scholarship.
CVS Pharmacy Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1985 through the courtesy of CVS Pharmacy, Woonsocket, Rhode Island and is awarded to deserving pharmacy students in their first, second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program with preference given to students interested in community pharmacy practice.
Angelo DeFazio Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2003 by Angelo DeFazio, a 1985 graduate of the School of Pharmacy and is awarded annually to a student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program with unmet financial need. From the eligible candidates priority consideration, but not an absolute preference, is given to first, students who are first generation Americans; second, to students who are members of a federally recognized underrepresented group; third, to students who demonstrate outstanding academic merit; and fourth, to students who are involved in extracurricular activities, including sports.
Raymond L. Dunn Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1962 through the courtesy of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association and is awarded annually to a Connecticut resident in the pharmacy professional program. This scholarship recognizes Raymond Dunn who graduated from Fordham School of Pharmacy and served as past president of the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association. Mr. Dunn was also a long time resident of Greenwich, Connecticut.
John T. and Margaret Dziubinski Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1986 by his wife, Margaret Dziubinski, in loving memory of Inspector John T. Dziubinski for his years of dedication to the pharmacy profession. He served as chief pharmacy inspector for the Connecticut Pharmacy Commission and was a long time associate of Edmund E. Goodmaster, Sr. The scholarship is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy students in the pharmacy professional program with demonstrated financial need.
James Faucette Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1999 by his sister, Deborah J. Faucette, in memory of her brother, James M. Faucette. It is awarded annually to a female student in the third or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program, with demonstrated desire and ambition to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical retail industry, exhibiting leadership ability and community involvement.
Nicholas W. Fenney Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1965 through the courtesy of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association, and the NARD – Lederle Interprofessional Service Award. It was established in recognition of the contributions to the profession by Nicholas W. Fenney, Class of 1942, and emeritus professor of pharmacy. It is awarded annually to Connecticut residents in the first, second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program and is based on need, character, scholastic attainment, and expectation of future contributions to the pharmacy profession.
Abraham Freeman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1972 through the courtesy of the Greater Bridgeport Pharmaceutical Association of Connecticut, Inc. in memory of Abraham Freeman, member of the Class of 1933; who was a longtime treasurer of the original Greater Bridgeport Pharmaceutical Society. It is awarded annually to outstanding students from the Greater Bridgeport area with preference will be given to fourth pharmacy professional year students, with consideration also given to third, second, and first pharmacy professional year students in that order.
Sherman R. Gershman ’51 Pharmacy Scholarship
This scholarship was established by his family in honor of Sherman R. Gershman and is awarded to a student in the professional program who has outstanding potential for clinical pharmacy practice as exhibited by performance in their clinical rotations.
Sister Maria Lucia Gerty Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1975, in honor of Sister Maria Lucia Gerty, Class of 1940, and the Sisters of Charity at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven and is awarded to a deserving student in the pharmacy professional program with demonstrated financial need.
Edmund E. Goodmaster, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1985 in loving memory of Edmund E. Goodmaster Sr., Class of 1933 by his wife, Edith; his family, friends, and colleagues of the Greater Bridgeport Pharmaceutical Society and Connecticut Pharmacists Association. It is awarded annually to a fourth year professional pharmacy student from the Greater Bridgeport area for high achievement in scholarship and extracurricular activities. Mr. Goodmaster was a community pharmacist (1946) and pharmacy inspector. He also served as Chief Inspector for 19 years, and then was appointed executive secretary of Connecticut Pharmacy Commission.
Greater Bridgeport Pharmaceutical Association of Connecticut Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2002 to provide financial support for students enrolled in the School of Pharmacy. Candidates for this scholarship must be a student enrolled in the professional program with demonstrated financial need and be in good academic standing.
Griebell Family Fund Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the Griebell Family to provide support for the School of Pharmacy’s continued pursuit of excellence.
The William and Adam Hait Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2006 to provide financial support for students enrolled in the University’s School of Pharmacy. Candidates for this scholarship must be enrolled full-time in the School and demonstrate an ability to think creatively and innovatively and have leadership skills.
The William M. Hait Family Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2009 for a full-time student with demonstrated academic achievement.
Nathan Hamerman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1965 through the courtesy of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association. Nathan H. Hamerman was the owner of a pharmacy in Whitneyville, Connecticut, was past president of the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association, and was active in Hamden, Connecticut civic organizations. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Connecticut resident in the pharmacy professional program.
William E. Harris Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1988 by Rena Harris Miller and Janet Harris Lassman in loving memory of their father, Pharmacy Commissioner William E. Harris. It is awarded annually to a first, second, third, or fourth year pharmacy professional program student, with consideration given to past academic achievement and demonstration of potential for future academic and professional accomplishments.
H. G. Hewitt Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1967, in honor of Dean Harold G. Hewitt (1947-1970) by his wife, Martha, and friends, colleagues and alumni. He organized the Pharmacy Alumni Association and oversaw the construction of the original campus building that bore his name. The School is the beneficiary of generous endowments established by the Hewitt family. This scholarship is awarded annually to a worthy Connecticut resident in the pharmacy professional program.
Emily L. Jordan Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established to provide an annual scholarship to a student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program in memory of Emily L. Jordan.
William S. Katz/Alpha Zeta Omega Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1993 in honor of William S. Katz, Class of 1961 in recognition of his professional accomplishments as past president of NARD and is made available through the courtesy of Alpha Zeta Omega Auxiliary Chapter and the Upjohn Company, together with contributions from the Katz Family. It is awarded annually to a deserving student in the pharmacy professional program on the basis of need, activity in university recognized organizations, and scholarship.
Sarkis J. Kazarian Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1979 in loving memory of Sarkis Jack Kazarian by his family and his son, David Kazarian. The Kazarian Family owned and operated pharmacies in the Hartford County area and have been active in both regional and Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association committees. It is awarded annually to students in the first, second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program.
Kinney Drug, Inc. Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2008 through the generosity of the Kinney Drug Employee Owners to support undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the University of Connecticut’s School of Pharmacy.
Paul J. Kunkel Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1973 in memory of Paul J. Kunkel by his colleagues and his sister, Marie Kunkel. Mr. Kunkel was a Waterbury community pharmacist who served as president and executive secretary of the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association. This scholarship is awarded annually to deserving students in the pharmacy professional program based in part on scholastic excellence and financial need.
Norman Lacina Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1998 to honor in memory of Mr. Lacina (Class of 1971).
Daniel C. Leone, Sr. and Mary C. Leone Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in recognition of Daniel C. Leone, Sr. and Mary C. Leone’s contributions to the profession of pharmacy by their children, Daniel C. Leone, Class of 1953; Loretta Leone McCabe, Claire Leone Long, Class of 1958; Donald J. Leone and family and friends. It is awarded annually to deserving students who are Connecticut residents in their second, third, or fourth year of their pharmacy professional program.
Daniel C. Leone Jr. Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the Connecticut Pharmacists Association through contributions by colleagues, associations, friends, and family of Daniel C. Leone, P.D., for his many years of service and devotion to the profession of pharmacy locally, regionally, and nationally; and for his commitment to the practice of pharmacy within the Connecticut pharmacy community. Daniel C. Leone was a member of the Class of 1953. This scholarship is awarded annually to a Connecticut resident in the pharmacy professional program who has demonstrated academic and extracurricular achievements, with a potential for future professional and community service accomplishments. Priority is to be given to children of graduates from the pharmacy professional program.
Abraham N. Levy and Kathryn D. Levy Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was made available through the Levy Trust, established in 1972, in memory of Kathryn D. and Abraham N. Levy. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy professional program students with preference for students from Hartford County. These awards are based on scholarship and character.
James T. Malaney Rho Chi Scholarship
This was established in memory of James T. Maloney, a member of the Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2010 and the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Alpha Gamma Chapter.
Dean Robert L. and Maureen A. McCarthy Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2010 by Sandra and Aaron Gersten in honor of Dean Robert L. McCarthy and his wife Maureen. Eligible candidates for this scholarship are incoming or continuing undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the School.
Gordon and Rita McGuire ’52 Family and Friends Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2002 by Gordon and Rita McGuire ’52 to support pharmacy students who are current fourth or fifth year professional students enrolled in the School of Pharmacy; who have good academic standing and financial need. A student whose permanent address is Connecticut is preferred.
Raymond T. and Josephine D. McMullen Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2007 through gifts received from Joan M. O’Brien, Anne M. Orner and Audrey M. Wasik to provide scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the School of Pharmacy. Candidates for this scholarship must be incoming or continuing undergraduate student enrolled full-time in the School demonstrating academic achievement and financial need.
Raymond T. McMullen Scholarship
This scholarship was established through a bequest from Josephine D. McMullen in memory of Raymond T. McMullen and is awarded to a deserving student in the School of Pharmacy.
National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation Pharmacy Partners Scholarship (NACDS)
All pharmacy deans who attend the NACDS annual meeting receive funds for their school’s scholarship fund with a minimum award of $1,000. All deans in attendance at the NACDS annual meeting are also eligible for several drawings for larger amounts of scholarship money up to a maximum of $20,000. This program is called the NACDS Foundation Pharmacy Partners Scholarship Program and is awarded to those pharmacy students interested in pursuing a career in community pharmacy.
New Haven Pharmaceutical Association Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1995 by the New Haven Pharmaceutical Association in memory of its members and their years of service and many contributions to the profession of pharmacy. It is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy professional program student, with preference to be given to New Haven area students.
Karl and Joan Nieforth Pharmacy Student Scholarship
This scholarship was established through funds received from Dean Karl A. (1981 – 1993) and Joan Nieforth. To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must be a student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program.
Karl A. Nieforth Pharmacy Student Research Award
This award was established in 1993 to support outstanding research initiatives by pharmacy undergraduates.
John L. O’Brien Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2002 to provide financial support for students enrolled in the School. To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must demonstrate social conscience in the health care field exhibited by involvement in community and school activities; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate academic achievement; and be a student in their first, second, or third year. From those candidates that meet the criteria, priority consideration will be given to a student who resides in New Haven County, Connecticut.
William M. Oliver Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1991 in loving memory of William M. Oliver, class of 1931 by family, friends, his wife, Olga Oliver, and his son, William E. Oliver. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy students in the pharmacy professional program on the basis of academic performance and/or financial need.
Joseph C. Papa, Sr. Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2003 by Joseph C. Papa in memory of his father, Joseph C. Papa, Sr. It is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy professional program student(s) who is/are a resident of the State of Connecticut or the State of New Jersey.
Charles A. Pergola Student Internship Award
Designed to provide financial support to qualified P4 pharmacy students participating in a drug information or pharmaceutical industry rotation during their advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPE).
School of Pharmacy Ambassador Scholarship
Awarded to highly motivated and involved ambassadors who exemplify our program.
School of Pharmacy Transfer Admission Scholarship
Established by the School of Pharmacy to provide financial support to transfer students.
Donna Farrow Pelkey – PADA Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1989, in honor of Donna Farrow Pelkey, class of 1978, in recognition of her outstanding substance abuse prevention activities by the Pharmacists Against Drug Abuse Foundation (PADA), a non-profit foundation based in Spring House, Pennsylvania. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy students enrolled in the pharmacy professional program.
Herman and Mary Perillo Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1979, in memory of Herman and Mary Perillo by their daughter Anita Perillo Denly, Class of 1966 and family, friends and colleagues. It is awarded annually to a deserving student in the pharmacy professional program based on character, financial need and scholarship with preference given to residents of the Greater Bridgeport area.
Pharmacy Alumni Association Memorial Scholarship in tribute to Joseph D’Alessio (class of 1985)
This scholarship was established in 2001 by the Pharmacy Alumni Association in memory of Joseph D’Alessio, Class of 1985.
Pharmacy Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1991-92, through the generosity of the Pharmacy Alumni Association. It is awarded annually to a deserving first, second, third, or fourth professional year pharmacy students. Priority is given to children and immediate relatives of School of Pharmacy alumni enrolled in the pharmacy professional program.
Robert and Joyce Pinco Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2008 through a donation from Robert and Joyce Pinco.
Melvin A. Prawdzik Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1972, in memory of Melvin A. Prawdzik, Class of 1936 by the Greater Bridgeport Pharmaceutical Association of Connecticut, Inc. Mr. Prawdzik was the first US serviceman to die in World War II. It is awarded annually to a pharmacy professional program student, with preference given to residents from the Greater Bridgeport area.
Rite Aid Corporation Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1975, courtesy of the Rite Aid Corporation of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is awarded to deserving students in their fourth year of the pharmacy professional year. These awards are based on need and preference for community practice.
Karen and Barry Rubinfeld Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2010 through the generosity of Karen and Barry Rubinfeld to support students with an interest in the fields of geriatrics or consulting pharmacy.
Maxwell E. Rulnick Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1961, in loving memory of Maxwell Rulnick by his colleagues, his wife, Bebe C. Rulnick, and his daughters Judith Hyman and Dianne Rulnick. Maxwell E. Rulnick was a practicing Pharmacist in West Hartford; and was one of Connecticut’s most respected Pharmacists and civic leaders. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy professional program students, with preference given to students from the Greater Hartford area. These awards are based on interest in the practice of community pharmacy.
School of Pharmacy Faculty and Staff Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1987, through the generosity of the faculty and staff of the School of Pharmacy. It is awarded annually to first, second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program and is based on academic achievement, participation in student activities, and leadership in student organizations within the School of Pharmacy.
Joseph Sewall Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2001.
William H. Silver Memorial Scholarship Fund for the School of Pharmacy
This scholarship was established in 2007 to support students enrolled in the School of Pharmacy. Candidate must be an incoming or continuing student enrolled full-time in the school, demonstrate academic achievement and demonstrate financial need. Priority will be given first, to student who have been or will graduate from a high school of West Haven, Connecticut; second to students who have been or will be graduated from a high school in New Haven County, Connecticut; and third, to any candidate that meets the above criteria.
Milton Smirnoff and Beatrice Smirnoff Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1984 through the generosity of Milton Smirnoff, Class of 1946 and his wife, Beatrice Smirnoff. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy professional program students from the Greater New Haven area with preference is given to those students anticipating a career in community practice.
Leslie and Ethel Spaner Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1986 by Leslie E. Spaner, Class of 1930, in loving memory of his wife, Ethel Spaner, for her irreplaceable stimulus and encouragement in support of Mr. Spaner’s leadership role in community practice in Connecticut. It is awarded annually to a graduate of a Connecticut high school enrolled in the pharmacy professional program and is based on character, financial need, and scholarship.
Ralph ’72 and Diana Stanzione Annual Scholarship
This scholarship was established through donations received from Ralph and Diana Stanzione. To be eligible for the scholarship(s), candidates must be a student enrolled full-time in the professional program in the school; demonstrate financial need; and demonstrate academic achievement. From those candidates that meet the criteria, priority consideration will be given to a student who exhibits interest in entrepreneurship as exemplified by participation in the National Community Pharmacist Association Student Chapter or such similar organization.
Stop & Shop Companies Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1986, through the courtesy of the Stop & Shop Companies, Boston, Massachusetts and is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy professional program student with primary consideration given to students interested in community pharmacy practice.
Selma and Harry Swatsburg Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1988, through the generosity of Harry Swatsburg, Class of 1949. It is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy professional program students with consideration given to past academic and professional achievements, and demonstration of potential for future academic and professional accomplishments.
Urban Service Track Scholarship
These scholarships, made possible thanks to a gift from The Perrigo Company Foundation, fund Urban Service Track Scholars who complete a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum preparing them to work with the underserved.
Target Corporation Scholarship
This scholarship was established through funds periodically received to support this scholarship.
Allan P. Viner Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2008 by Susan Viner in honor of her husband Allan Viner and is awarded annually to a third or fourth year pharmacy student.
Walgreen’s Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1986 through the courtesy of the Walgreen Co., Deerfield, Illinois. Historically, it was awarded annually to deserving pharmacy students in the pharmacy professional program who meets the following criteria: a) Student should be entering their final year of pharmacy school; b) Student should have a minimum overall “C” GPA; c) Student should demonstrate outstanding leadership and communication skills; and d) Student should have an interest in retail community pharmacy practice. Effective AY 08/09, the scholarship will be a Walgreen’s Diversity Scholarship awarded to a single student whose efforts have raised awareness in diversity and community outreach.
Wal-Mart Stores Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1992-93, through the courtesy Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., of Bentonville, Arkansas and is awarded annually to deserving pharmacy students in the pharmacy professional program.
Jerry and Babs Weitzman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1978, through the generosity of Pelton’s Drug Store in honor of Gerry and Babs Weitzman. It is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy professional program student demonstrating academic excellence and leadership skills.
The Amy Christine Anderson Memorial Award was established in memory of Professor Amy Anderson who was the former Department Head of our School’s Pharmaceutical Sciences Department. It is awarded to a student of strong academic merit with demonstrated scholarly activity.
Walter R. Williams Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1968 in memory of Walter R. Williams, Class of 1928, courtesy of Manchester Pharmaceutical Association, Connecticut Pharmacists Association, alumni and friends. It is awarded annually to a worthy Connecticut student in the first, second, third, or fourth year of the pharmacy professional program.
The Women in Leadership Scholarship is awarded to women in our program that have demonstrated leadership qualities exemplifying such characteristics as vision, empathy and servant leadership.
Pre-Pharmacy Enrollment Scholarships
Recruitment scholarships are given through the Office of Enrollment Management. They are offered to exemplary pre-pharmacy students.
Pharm.D. Honors Program Research Scholarships
Bryan F. Zembrowski Pharmaceutical Industry Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2009 to support students enrolled full-time in the School of Pharmacy. Students submit an application, which may include an essay.
Connecticut Pharmacists Association – Associates Members Scholarship
This scholarship was established through the courtesy of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. The CPA supports scholarships that are chosen by the school as well as named scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to deserving students within the pharmacy professional program who are Connecticut residents. The named scholarships are: Raymond L. Dunn Memorial Scholarship and the Nathan Hamerman Memorial Scholarship.

The Connecticut Pharmacists Association supports up to six scholarships directly from their office.
