Ashley Gale, a third year pharmacy student, has been involved in research at the School of Pharmacy for three semesters under the direction of Dr. William Baker. Her research project titled, “Hemodynamic and Electrocardiographic Effects of Acai Berry in Healthy Volunteers: A Randomized Controlled Trial,” has begun the research into the possible negative effects of acai berry. The Rho Chi Society and the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy Honors and Professional Research Committee congratulate Ashley for her important scholarly research contributions.
