Stephanie Gernant
Pharm. D., M.S.
Department of Pharmacy Practice
Appointed as an Assistant Professor through the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, Dr. Gernant’s research focuses on medication safety in ambulatory, community, and primary care. Much of this work has focused on the implementation and dissemination of quality improvement innovations and transitions of care in practice-based research settings.
Using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, Dr. Gernant’s passion has more recently turned to explore risk communication among interprofessional, virtual health-care teams. Her most recent work explores COVID risk communication among community pharmacists.
