Apply to UConn School of Pharmacy
Applications to the Pre-Professional Program
Current high school students or those who have never attended a college or university may join the Pre-Professional Program in Pharmacy with an application through UConn Undergraduate Admissions. Please see the Undergraduate Admissions First Year Deadlines Page for the most up-to-date information on deadlines, including deadlines for Early Decision and Priority Applications for Merit and Honors Consideration.
Interested applicants who are currently enrolled or have prior coursework or degrees from other higher education institutions, who are interested in transferring to UConn, and who have at minimum a year of our Pharm.D. prerequisite coursework left to complete, may apply to the Pre-Professional Program as transfer students. This application will go through UConn Undergraduate Transfer Admissions. Please see the Undergraduate Transfer Admissions Deadlines page for the most up-to-date information on deadlines. Students who have less than a year of prerequisite courses to complete may still apply to UConn as a transfer student for another major and then complete the parallel PharmCAS application to be admitted to the Professional (Pharm.D.) Program upon completion of prerequisite courses.

Applications to the M.S./Ph.D Program
Our department is engaged in groundbreaking research supported by grants from the U.S. FDA, NIH, and various industries. We invite you to be a part of this exciting work! Our program offers three areas of concentration: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Medicinal Chemistry. Each academic year, we typically admit 8-10 students from a competitive applicant pool. Students admitted into the PhD program usually receive a graduate assistantship and a tuition waiver. Students in the MS program are self-funded. We do offer rolling admissions for both semesters. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
Apply to the program and find all detailed application requirements on the Graduate School website.
