    Speaker Bio:

Dr. Jarrett Johnson is a Medical Science Liaison for Lundbeck LLC, a neuroscience based pharmaceutical company. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017 and completed a PGY-1 residency at Howard University Hospital and his PGY-2 psychiatric pharmacy residency within the Miami VA Healthcare System. Dr. Johnson developed a passion for mental health due to having witnessed several of his past family members experience drug use during the crack cocaine era in Miami, Florida and rather than being treated they were either incarcerated or deceased. This motivated Dr. Johnson to pursue a career as a mental health clinical pharmacist in order to bridge the gap between the African American community and mental health treatment. He currently provides clinical data and networks with several mental health practitioners within the Florida and Georgia area.
